I have reinstalled CoD:WaW and tried reinstalling the maps and that did not work. 7 Days to Die is a survival horror video game set in an open world developed by The Fun Pimps.

When the installer says that the install was successful, I go and look in the Steam CoD:WaW mods folder and it has the files in it for the maps I "installed" and I even looked in the Activision CoD:WaW mods folder and it also has the maps with the files in them too.
